Daqing Oilfield Ground-Mounted Photovoltaic Power Station
This project is located in Honggang District, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. The site is situated within an alluvial landform unit—specifically the Songhua River alluvial plain in the central Songnen Plain. It is characterized by uniform topography, minimal undulation, and an open, flat layout free from obstructions such as nearby buildings. Solar energy resources are evenly distributed across the area. The land consists of saline-alkali soil, making it suitable for the construction of a ground-mounted photovoltaic power station.
The planned site covers a total area of approximately 550,000 m², with elevations ranging from 146.8 m to 147.2 m. The project has a planned total capacity of 20 MWp, utilizing 270 Wp polycrystalline silicon modules. The projected average annual power generation is 24,823,000 kWh, with an equivalent annual utilization of 1,241.2 hours.
The site’s seismic fortification intensity is Grade 6, with a design earthquake grouping of Group I, a design basic seismic acceleration of 0.05g, and a characteristic period of the seismic response spectrum of 0.45s. The site soil ranges from soft to medium-hard and is classified as Category III construction ground. Structural calculations are based on a basic wind pressure of 0.55 kN/m² and a basic snow pressure of 0.30 kN/m². The main structure is designed for a service life of 25 years, with a safety class of Grade III and a structural importance coefficient of 1.0.
The cross-sectional view of the photovoltaic module mounting structure is shown above. The primary components consist of C-section steel and rectangular (or square) hollow structural sections. Specifically, the purlins and inclined beams are made of C-section steel (purlins: C100×50×20×2; inclined beams: C80×45×10×2.5). The supports utilize rectangular (or square) hollow sections (intermediate support: 120×80×3; long and short inclined supports: 40×40×2).
The steel consumption for a single photovoltaic module array mounting structure is approximately 7 kg/m². All steel components are fabricated from Q235 steel. With the exception of the intermediate support, which is connected to the precast pipe pile end plate via welding, all other components are joined using bolted connections.

Photovoltaic Mounting Structure for Zhongshan Station, Antarctica
A schematic diagram of the photovoltaic array structure is shown above; the mounting structure for each array consists of three support frames, three fixed bases, and two crossbeams. The support frames and crossbeams constitute the main body of the mounting structure. The front upright of the support frame is secured to the base via a flange connection, while the rear upright is connected to the inclined beam and the base using a hinged joint to facilitate adjustment.
Increasing the length of the strip concrete base helps reduce the mass of the foundation; for a photovoltaic array comprising four modules at Zhongshan Station, a strip concrete base with dimensions of 2.4 m × 0.4 m × 0.4 m is suitable. The front uprights are subject to the highest loads, and rectangular steel tubing made of Q345E steel with specifications of 80 mm × 40 mm × 2.0 mm meets the engineering requirements.
